
Hi, I'm Chris Marshall.
I'm a dentist who used to be an accountant. I'm based in Tennessee, and I work with buyers across the U.S. and Canada. I've spent years in the chair treating patients, managing staff, and running a dental practice. That combination is why I can look at a broker package and immediately see what the numbers aren't telling you.
I've evaluated hundreds of dental practices across the United States and Canada. When a broker says a practice collects $1.2 million, but 40% of that production comes from procedures the seller performs that you don't, that's not a $1.2 million practice for you. Those are the issues I find.
I work exclusively for buyers. I don't represent sellers and I'm not a broker. My incentives are aligned with yours. If the practice isn't right, I'll tell you to walk away.

In most dental practice transactions, the seller has experienced representation. The broker works for them. The buyer often has a CPA and an attorney, but nobody evaluating the business itself from their side of the table.
